Yates Trio (1830)
A Yates trio made about 1830.
The shape of the cups and handles is “Old English” style. The Yates factory produced high quality porcelain for 21 years in the second quarter of the 19th century. The porcelain is richly decorated with golden scrolls and a twisting creeper separating hand-painted roses. The pattern number of 1314 is in small red numbers on the tea cup and larger blue numbers on the coffee cup. The tea cup diameter is 97 mm and the height is 46 mm. The coffee cup diameter is 84 mm with a height of 61 mm.
